What is a Starbucksstore.ca Subscription?
You can sign up for recurring deliveries of select Starbucksstore.ca products. You schedule the frequency of your orders (options include weekly or up to 8 week intervals) and we will ship them automatically. You'll only be charged for each order when the item(s) is shipped. The amount charged will reflect the price of the item on the day the order is shipped, plus any applicable sales tax and shipping costs.
You can set up your orders to include any Program products or combination of Program products. You do not have to select the same products for each subscription delivery.
Select items offered by Starbucksstore.ca are eligible for the Program. Typically we allow all our coffees, teas and other consumables to be eligible for subscription delivery. Certain limited time only products such as Starbucks® Reserve and our Traditions coffees are not eligible for subscription delivery because those items are for limited time only. Other items such as Equipment and Starbucks Card are also not eligible for subscription delivery.
You must have a Starbucksstore.ca account in order to purchase items through the Program. We reserve the right to accept or refuse subscription orders at our discretion. Your subscription is personal to you, and you may not assign or transfer your subscription to any third party.
If any problems arise with the shipping address or payment method associated with your subscription order, we will notify you via email using the address associated with your subscription asking that you resolve the problem and reactivate your subscription. Your subscription may be placed on hold and no additional orders will be processed or shipped until the problem has been resolved and the subscription has been reactivated.
If any Program item is not available on the day it is scheduled to be shipped, we will notify you of the delay and will attempt to fulfill the order as soon as possible for a two (2) week period. If the item does not become available during that time, we will notify you that the order has been canceled and we will attempt to send the next shipment on schedule.
If any Program item is no longer available, we will automatically deactivate your subscription for that item and no additional orders associated with that subscription will be placed. We will notify you should this occur. If you would like a replacement item, you will need to create a new subscription order for that item.
You must register and pay with one of our accepted credit cards: VISA, Master Card, and AMEX. Starbucks Cards cannot be used to pay for subscription orders.
The total cost charged to your credit card for each Program order will be the cost of the item on the day the order is shipped, plus any applicable sales tax and shipping costs.
The charge for each shipment will be billed to the credit card used to create your subscription order. If the credit card associated with your subscription account becomes invalid at any time during the subscription period or if the charge is otherwise rejected, we will send you an email notifying you that your form of payment failed. Your subscription will be placed on hold until you update the payment information associated with your account. Your subscription will remain on hold and no additional orders will be processed or shipped until the information is updated and you reactivate your subscription.
Managing your Account
You can set your subscription order for one cycle or multiple cycles. You can also "pause" your subscription for a limited time.
We typically ship all our subscription deliveries on Tuesdays, so you can make changes to your order until midnight Central Time the Monday before your next delivery is scheduled to ship.
We may in our discretion change these Terms without notice to you.
Termination by Us
We may terminate your subscription at our discretion without notice. If we do so, you will only be charged for orders that have been shipped to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Starbucks and its officers, directors, employees, shareholders or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential damages, or any other damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, use of money, or loss or damage arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, whether in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use Starbucksstore.ca or the Program, the content or the materials contained in or accessed through Starbucksstore.ca or the Program, including without limitation any damages caused by or resulting from reliance by a user on any information obtained from Starbucks, or that result from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files or email, errors, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission or any failure of performance, whether or not resulting from acts of God, communications failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to Starbucks' records, programs or services. In no event shall the aggregate liability of Starbucks, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence, whether active, passive or imputed), product liability, strict liability or other theory, arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use Starbucksstore.ca or the Program exceed any compensation you pay, if any, to Starbucks for access to or use of Starbucksstore.ca or the Program. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability in contracts with consumers, so some or all of these limitations of liability may not apply to you.
