For busy coffee lovers

By Dee

Comments about Acrylic Travel Coffee Press by Bodum, 3.5-cup:

I work in hospital and get called at random time of the day/night. This travel press is my best friend! Boil water, get ready, brew coffee, put on shoes, take elevator down, walk one block, press, voila! Fresh coffee at 1AM/3AM/5AM/7AM.. anytime!

Comments about Acrylic Travel Coffee Press by Bodum, 3.5-cup:

I use this for loose leaf tea and the issue I find is that the press does not go far enough down to press the tea. For coffee I would assume the same but one might use more grounds for coffee than tea.
Aside from that, the feel and look is great.
The strainer is fine and holds all loose particles in the bottom and there is such a great seal that the liquid does not get through.

It's a great idea, however, it now just hangs out on my desk at work for the in case moment.

Bad design

By MamaE73

from Undisclosed

Comments about Acrylic Travel Coffee Press by Bodum, 3.5-cup:

I received my order, opened up the package with the coffee press, proceeded to unscrew the top to take out the instructions and the inner cup came away from the outer liner. Poorly designed and useless as I had to return it. Will not reorder another.

Extremely poor and inconvenient design

Comments about Acrylic Travel Coffee Press by Bodum, 3.5-cup:

I believe this product has been very poorly designed. Unfortunately I used it so I think I am stuck with it.
The press does not go down far enough to trap the right amount of ground coffee, so there will always be a little bit of water being brewed constantly and seeping into the drink side. Once the plunger is depressed, there is no possible way to add your milk and/or sugar to the cup without removing the lid, and hence the releasing the grinds into the drink again. The cup sleeve looks tacky with writing all over it. It is also a nightmare to clean grinds out of the sieve portion of this press. It is not a good representation of Starbucks I believe.
